This argument is an unsigned char value that can be implicitly converted to int, or it can be EOF. The value represents the character to be converted to lowercase. C tolower () If the arguments passed to the tolower () function is other than an uppercase alphabet, it returns the same character that is passed to the function. It is defined in ctype.h header file.
