The PanedWindow widget is a geometry manager widget, which can contain one or more child widgets panes. The child widgets can be resized by the user, by moving separator lines sashes using the mouse. In this tutorial, you'll learn how to use the Tkinter PanedWindow widget to divide the space of a frame or a window. A PanedWindow is a container widget that may contain any number of panes, arranged horizontally or vertically. Each pane contains one widget and each pair of panes is separated by a moveable (via mouse movements) sash. Moving a sash causes the widgets on either side of the sash to be resized.
