You can also select " Clone to Other View " if you want to have the same file open more than once and see different parts of it. You can right-click the divider line and rotate the views to be either side-by-side or top-and-bottom. Oct 3, 2022 · View > View/Clone Current Document > Move to Other View will move one of the two files to the other view. Or right clicking on the tab’s title, and finding the equivalent Move to Other View action. Mar 5, 2025 · You can do this by closing all the files within that view, or by dragging the tabs from that view back to the main Notepad++ window. Once only one view remains, the split screen will disappear.
