Web Reference: Dec 23, 2015 · Webpack tries to resolve electron module with the installed node_modules. But the electron module is resolved in Electron itself at runtime. So, you have to exclude particular module from webpack bundling like this: webpack.config.js: entry: './app.jsx', output: { path: './built', filename: 'app.js' . }, target: 'atom', module: { loaders: [ By stating what dependencies a module needs, webpack can use this information to build a dependency graph. It then uses the graph to generate an optimized bundle where scripts will be executed in the correct order. You can easily write your own loaders using Node.js. Loaders are activated by using loadername! prefixes in require() statements, or are automatically applied via regex from your webpack configuration.
