Example 1: Here, we use the isEmpty () method to check whether an ArrayList of integers is empty. Return Type: It returns a boolean value, true if the list is empty, otherwise false. Definition and Usage The isEmpty() method returns true if a list has no items and false otherwise. The size, isEmpty, get, set, iterator, and listIterator operations run in constant time. The add operation runs in amortized constant time, that is, adding n elements requires O(n) time. All of the other operations run in linear time (roughly speaking). The constant factor is low compared to that for the LinkedList implementation.
