This is my little how-to guide on network programming using Internet sockets, or "sockets programming", for those of you who prefer it. The sockets API, though started by the Berkeley folk, has been ported to many many platforms, including Unix, Linux, and even Windows. This series will guide you through the exciting world of network programming using the C language. You will go from understanding fundamental concepts to building your own network applications, with practical, hands-on projects that bridge the gap between theory and real-world use.
