Each thread is assigned a priority (1–10) that influences scheduling but does not guarantee execution order. Thread priority ranges from 1 (MIN_PRIORITY) to 10 (MAX_PRIORITY) Every thread has a priority. Threads with higher priority are executed in preference to threads with lower priority. Each thread may or may not also be marked as a daemon. In this tutorial, we’ll discusshow the Java thread scheduler executes threads on a priority basis.
