According with the new release notes, the before_first_request is deprecated and will be removed from Flask 2.3: What are you using as a replacement now that `before_first_request` is deprecated? I used it to reconnect to the database when new uWSGI workers would be spawned (as they should not share the same database connection). But now I'm not sure how to accomplish this. Any advice would be appreciated. If any before_request() handler returns a non-None value, the value is handled as if it was the return value from the view, and further request handling is stopped.
